About Greener Sets
The idea for Greener Sets sprouted in Fall of 2007 when Montreal-NYC-based actor Marie-Marguerite Sabongui was working on set and thought, "Really? This is pretty wasteful and inefficient, but it doesn't have to be." And so, she developed Greener Sets as a vehicle to lend a hand to film and entertainment projects that were ready to reduce their carbon footprints.
Greener Sets encourages environmental responsibility by providing tools and information for film and tv productions wishing to go green. But we also go one step further. We know that it can be overwhelming to do this all alone. And so, Greener Sets provides services to production teams and departments that want all the glory and none of the work of finding and implementing eco-friendly options.
Whether in pre-, mid- or post-production, and from small acts to total eco-overhauls, every step counts to reducing the entertainment community's carbon footprint.
